Question: What's been your scariest experience on volcanoes?

I haven’t really been scared whilst working on volcanoes, we make sure to prepare to be as safe as possible. But one time I did find a rock about a meter and a half across that had been thrown out by a previous eruption near where we were working. This was quite a reminder for me just how powerful volcanic eruptions can be, that this rock that I couldn’t hope to lift had once been airborne!
