Art and French! I chose a career in science instead because I wanted a job where I never stop learning new things and being amazed.

I think Chemistry, German and Drama
I was part of a drama group outside of school, but the Drama in school consisted of more essays than acting, and was not offered by the 6th form i went to, so i did not continue with it
I did some extra modules of German when i started my Chemistry degree, but found it very hard to keep up with other students, as they were learning German all the time, where i did a couple of hours a week, with a lot of the rest of my time taken by labs
So in the end, i dropped the German the next year, and continued with just Chemistry -

Maths to start with, however, one of my teachers who happened to be the head of department for the sciences convinced me to join sciences and I discovered my love for Chemistry and Physics as well.

Maths and Chemistry for me! But I also really enjoyed Biology. I also really liked German, as something a bit different to my other more scientific subjects. That’s why I studied these subjects all the way to A level!

Science (chemistry and biology), computers and art. I love being creative and drawing, working with computers – being able to build one from scratch. I used to struggle with science, but after an amazing science teacher in secondary school, it gave me a new perspective and I fell in love with science!

Chemistry, physics, maths in that order. I also did ICT for a short while at A-level but the course was so dull I dropped it – funnily enough I now program a lot as part of my job which I find quite enjoyable because it uses problem solving skills. But programming was not part of ICT course (strange syllabus at the time), shows that you can return to some things later!

I absolutely loved Biology, that was the one.
Apart from that, I enjoyed chemistry, Spanish and Philosophy I would say -

Chemistry was always a favourite of mine! I also enjoyed learning foreign languages – English and German, and I even took a semester of Russian in high school.

I actually loved history, I was fascinated by past events. But I love numbers, so I loved maths, physics, and chemistry
