Hi Antonia, great question! What I love most about my job is that every week I discover something new! I am constantly learning and finding out new facts that may one day contribute to making a new medicine to treat diseases!

It’s never boring – there is always something new and different going on! I also like working with people from all sorts of backgrounds and, as I get older, hope that working with students will keep me young at heart!

So many things… discovering something new is very exciting, but also working with people from around the world and getting to visit great places.

The feeling of completion once all tests have been performed on a sample, and they get a pass or fail result. Either you can tell a client that their sample is good, which is nice, or you get a feeling of satisfaction in keeping a material that has failed the requirement out of the public domain
