We work on different products to protect the plants from insect attack, fungicide attack and also to get rid of other weeds. As insects/fungi/weeds become resistant thought we need to continually look for new compounds that work differently to overcome this resistance.

There are also products that help plants deal with stressful conditions e.g. drought and teams looking into new ways of doing things e.g. using drones to be more accurate when treating fields.

Protecting the plant ensures the plants can focus on growing and producing food!
Our products also mean farmers can grow more on a field and spend less time having to do things like weeding. In places like Africa, that means children have time to go to school and don’t have to just work on the farms.
