This has changed throughout my life
When I was little I wanted to be a librarian. This changed when my dad made me aware that by being a librarian I had to give the books to other people, not just sit and read all the books
Later I wanted to be a writer. I wrote a relatively long story during a 28 hour coach ride to a skiing trip, but I was never able to give it a satisfying ending
I think when I started GCSE was when I had decided to follow science.
Looking back now, I think I would like to work with animals. A zookeeper, or manager of some kind of animal experience

In my younger years, I wanted to be a medical doctor, but after watching too many medical films as well finding out biology was a bit too much for me, I opted to help doctors cure diseases by working in drug discovery and development.

Honest answer: Something where I got paid a lot better for the hours I work and the years of training I went through. I would feel terrible and probably not contribute to society in a positive way, but if you take the thing I love doing from me that is what you get šŸ˜‰

I’m not sure… but I often joke that if I lose interest in science, I’ll go and stack shelves in a supermarket!

I think I would train to be a plumber!
I enjoy working with my hands and I spend far too much time in front of a computer with this job.
I would, however, need a good step ladder because otherwise I’d never be able to reach anything

I’ve always said that if the science doesn’t work out, as a dog lover, I’d happily go and work in a dogs home!
Something else I think I’d find interesting is being a product tester, working in the food industry. Somebody has to taste test the latest product – and when it comes to chocolate or crisps, I’d happily volunteer!

I’d be a game ranger, looking after wild animals or a food scientist. I love animals and food!

Difficult to say. I have spent almost all my adult life training to be a scientist, so hard to imagine doing something that does not involve science in some way. I spend a lot of time programming as part of my job, maybe I would become a computer programmer (but maybe this is a computer scientist so that is cop out answer!).

I have always been attracted to arts, so maybe I would have studied art history or graphic designer maybe.
I have also been motivated by sport and well-being so maybe, pilates/yoga instructor for a while would been a great point to start.

I would love to do something with drama and theatre – not sure if I could be an actress, but maybe at least run drama workshops in my local community and pass on my passion to others. I also always loved languages, so I think I would enjoy working as a translator too.
