  Organic chemistry is the basic fundamental of my job. Carrying out reactions to make new molecules to be tested as potential drugs. Biology is required to understand processes in cells and whole animals, but you don’t need to be an expert. Entry level to my job is usually a bachelor of science degree in chemistry.

Although it’s helped me understand some of the terminology that’s used, I’ve learnt a lot more on the job that has helped me more.
