      Wikipedia says it weighs about 6,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 kg (that’s 6 with 24 0s afterwards, or 6 septillion kilograms) So a lot!

      This is a good question 🙂 In this situation, I think it’s better to talk about mass rather than weight. Mass means the amount of matter in an object, whereas weight means the pull of gravity on an object. Scientists think that the Earth’s mass is about 7,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 kg. So next time you see a 1kg bag of flour in the shops, try to imagine what 7,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 of those would look like! 😉
