my dreams don’t tend to be in relation to my projects, and are rather to do with people. My big dream at work is to be in a position where I can help the most people succeed and achieve their goals. If I were forced to pick a “project” one, it would be that my work results in patents and products that help make fuel cells used by more people.

I work on many projects to do with sustainability, becoming a net zero company, reducing waste, recycling materials and using materials not based on fossil fuels but other things like waste from forestry or agriculture. We already use only renewable electricity in the UK. So my dream is that all these projects deliver what we intend in the time we expect them to. Experience tells me research and development of new technologies and new processes doesn’t always work like that and some won’t work out – but I can dream!

I would like to see as much of my research as possible having an impact in making our day to day lives better. I think it is one of those goals that you never fully reach (as you can always do more), but I hope I can do some nice progress in the next 5 years.

I’d like to work on a large building project that is not only Carbon-Neutral, however Carbon-Negative. Imagine a University or large School that actually reduces Human’s normally negative effect on the planet? Perhaps grow more trees that are used to build the site, produce more electricity than it uses, the building produces heating enough for local houses to use to heat their homes? The outcomes are endless.
And yes, this type of building could happen in the next 5 years. As long as people are willing to invest in our future.

I’d like to see an end to single use plastic packaging. All packaging must have a proper purpose and be reusable, home compostable or, if needs be, easily recyclable. Everyone should have the ability to compost bio / green waste. 5 years is a push for all these changes, but we will definitely see progress!

My best projects are where there is variety and learning something new. I tend to run 5 or 6 different projects at once, so that when I’m waiting for a response on one project then I work on another. Some projects are simple and run smoothly, some are more complex. This way I get variety. And I often work on products and processes that I’ve never heard of before, so I’m always learning something new.

The dream though is to work with nice people who are as curious as I am!

My dream is to see the projects I am involved in make meaningful impact to people’s lives. I am usually very happy when I see that some of the energy projects I helped design is contributing to the global energy demand. I remain positive and ensure I keep an open to ensure I make any changes to adapt to the changing needs of the society.

Well I am passionate about renewable energy. At the moment I am working on renewable energy sector actively.
But, I got interested in science because of space science. One day I want to study more about space science as well, I am not sure if it will be in next few years though.
