YES!! Anyone can be a scientist, and there is such a range of jobs and interesting things to research. All sorts of skills and personalities are needed to help us find out about the world and how to improve things for people and planet.

Have you considered you may already be a scientist? I think I started to think of myself as a scientist at uni, but I hadn’t worked as a scientist by then. Anyone can be scientist if they are open minded and curious and willing to try new things out (aka experiment). There are lots of jobs scientists do that are not the traditional lab-based roles.

Sure, there’s always work to be done in science and the more people involved the better in my opinion.

      Yes!
Can you ask questions? Can you do experiments? Can you write reports where you tell people what you did and what the results were? If you answered yes to these, then yes you can be a scientist.
What parts of science interest you the most?

Yes! Do you like asking questions? Are you interested in solving problems? Are you curious about the world around you and want to understand more? Do you like trying out and doing new things?
Anyone can be a scientist, you don’t need to go to university. The company where I work has jobs for scientist at all levels, from apprentices who have just finished secondary school, to graduates, PhDs and experienced scientists.

Yes! Anyone can be a scientist. I didn’t do very well at school, but once I was working on projects instead of only learning subjects, I found I could be an engineer too.
