Yes I do – a lot. I used to work in a lab (a proper scientist wearing a lab coat) but I found that a bit lonely – everyone works on their own projects and also I used to get really fed up with experiments that didn’t work! Now, I get to read about other people’s experiments and talk about those results with lots of other analysts (that’s what my job title is – an analyst) – I really enjoy bouncing ideas off other people and enjoy working as a team so it suits me well…
The other great thing about my job is you get to see what drug’s are going to make a difference in people’s lives before they come on the market – I love that as its a really positive job. No matter how many horrid diseases there are out there, you can see that there’s drugs in clinical trials that are really going to make a difference once they go on sale…
