• Question: Which type of storm affects our coastline mainly?

      We are lucky in England that we don’t get Hurricanes- the biggest type of storm. Our seas are too cold (thankfully) but they are more of a problem in places with warmer seas.

      We just get big storms, usually with winds up to 60 miles per hour, that’s as fast as cars go on the motorway! These storms make waves big enough to really affect our coastline!
