My favourite science lesson was one biology class in secondary school – we got to dissect a rat! It was a bit gross to do, but also very interesting. Once we opened the rat’s tummy up, we could see all of its organs really clearly and understand a lot about how an animal’s body works.

In a similar way, I do this today as a human archaeologist – I focus on people from the past and not animals, and I study the skeletal system!

      Wow, good question

      I’m thinking back a looooooong way…

So we did biology, chemistry and physics.

Physics was the hardest for me as it had lots of sums. It is now very useful in my job!

Biology was very interesting as I learnt so many useful things about the body and the environment.

My favorite must have been the exciting experiments in chemistry. Getting to set things on fire and making potions for science was cool!!!!

      What about you?

      Lauren
