      Hey!

Really good question, and I would say that the sea itself is the most dangerous thing. It can be deep, and the water can move very fast. If it is stormy and windy then the sea can have big waves that crash into the land and break it up!
I want to show why the sea gets dangerous and teach the science behind it. The seaside is a beautiful place to go, especially when it is sunny and the water is calm.

I have seen some sad news stories about how humans leave too much trash in the sea – a lot of companies around the world are a bit irresponsible with the amount of plastic and other materials that end up in the ocean. Turtles get strangled by plastic aluminium can holders. Fish die because of oil spills in the sea. Birds like seagulls and pelicans accidentally mistaken plastic bags or metal garbage as food, which slowly kills them and causes pain for them from the inside. 🙁

While I would like to say the most dangerous thing in the sea is a shark or an orca, the truth might be that it is humankind! Hopefully more and more scientists and non-scientists will learn more about their effect on the environment in the coming months and cause less sea pollution!
