  Hi Master Scott.
  
  My favourite pattern is made by the sea! Waves have lots of energy in them, and they move sand around. They can make ‘sand ripples’ on the beach and if you google ‘sand ripple’ there are lots of pictures of them. That is a really cool pattern and can show you how big the waves were when they were made. Bigger ripples mean bigger waves!
