  Good question!
  
  I have done a project where we try and work out where the sand on our beaches comes from, and goes to. The sand or stones on a beach that you see when you might go in the summer, are totally different each time that you go!
  
  I also like to look at making things to protect peoples houses from waves, if they live near the sea.
