  Luckily there are a group of other scientists who look at predicting the weather with really cool equipment. That information goes into the weather forecasts which you see on television!
  It is really important to predict the weather so if it is really bad, then we know we need to protect against flooding, where the water rises in the sea and washes into peoples houses. That causes lots of damage!
