Question: How can our pets past parasites to us

What a great question @296nveg24 !! There are different ways that pets can pass parasites to us, but usually it is by contact of some kind, for example when we stroke them, or worse, by accidentally coming into contact with their poo or saliva. The eggs of parasites, such as some worms, are passed in our pets’ poo, and because our pets groom themselves to keep clean, the eggs can end up on their fur, or in their mouth, and then on us when we touch them! Cuddling our pets is great but this is why it is so important to wash our hands after we do (and especially before we eat our food)!
