• Question: do u love otters and why

      Hi Etan4p, yes, I really love otters, I think they are incredible animals! I live near Chester Zoo, so I often go to visit the otters there, where they have recently had babies, which are really fun to watch playing 🙂

      There are different types of otters that live near rivers, and others that live in the sea and hardly ever spend time on land at all! They are mammals and they eat fish, shellfish and crabs from the sea, and other fish, frogs, snails in rivers.
      They are very playful and intelligent animals, and enjoy chasing each other, wrestling and even playing on water slides in the river! Did you know that otters in the sea wrap themselves around seaweed attached to the seabed, so they don’t float away on the waves when they fall asleep in the water? Amazing, huh?
