If we do not find ways to reduce pollution on our urban areas it is highly likely that we will continue to see an increase in illnesses related to poor air quality. Asthma is a respiratory illness often linked to air pollution but it is not the main one as we see more occurrence of lung cancer and heart attacks and as the epidemiology research increases we are finding lots of other links to health effects.
