  As a child, I would say my parents. As cheesy as that sounds, they were the people I got to see the most and they helped me to gain a love for science and education! As an adult, I have far too many to list. I particularly found Nicola Tesla inspirational – he didn’t get recognition for his work during his lifetime and died alone (with pigeons!) but he continued for the love of science and betterment of society. I hope I can contribute to the wider world, much in the way he did. He was also exceptionally clever!

  My teachers who told me I could be whatever I wanted to be. As an adult, the boss of my manager is pretty inspirational – she has achieved a lot.
