• Question: When you were younger did you always want to be a scientist

      I really did! I always used to play with things hands on (and often breaking them – shh, don’t tell!). Of course, I didn’t actually know what a “scientist” was, as a child (we didn’t have internet!). I did really have curiosity to understand the world around me. I just didn’t know there was a word to describe people who have this! I used to watch documentaries made by scientists as a kid, often wildlife documentaries (with my parents, they can get scary as a child!). These helped a lot.
