      Great question and a really tough one to answer… my first thought was my dog as he’s adoarable and goes everywhere (almost) with me but thats a bit boring. I keep bees and find them fascinating but I’m not sure they are my absolute favourite…. so my answer is going to be giant sea turtles that I was lucy enough to swim with on the outer barrier reef in Australia a few years ago. These are simply magnificent animals and despite being large and very heavy on land they are incredibly graceful in the water!

      I have been lucky enough to travel to Madagascar where I ran a field course for a few years. It a really large island filled with all sorts of amazing animals. My favourite though is the Aye-Aye, which is a lemur that only comes out after dark, it has rodent like teeth and one thin finger which it uses to poke into holes in trees to look for insects to eat. Local people are scared of them, and they are pretty ugly… but I thought it was amazing!
