Large Hadron Collider is the winner unless other scientists can think of anything bigger. It consists of a circular tunnel 26.6 km (16.5 mi) in length, buried between 50 to 175 meters (164 – 574 ft) underground around which they circulate particles and collide them.

I wouldn’t pinpoint a single one – but I would say discovering electricity was a fantastic discovery! Then of course the invention of wires to carry it from place to place has been very important.

One of the most important scientific innovations is certainly Charles Darwin’s concept of evolution! But there are a countless number of important discoveries–many right answers!

There are many contenders for ‘the biggest science invention’ but I’m going to say one of the best is the internet. It allows us to share and develop ideas with other scientists all over the world which would have been very difficult just a few years ago
