• Question: Should a badger cull be implemented to save the hedgehogs?

      Nooooo!!!! Badgers and hedgehogs live happily side by side when the habitat is right (when they have enough food), badgers only predate hedgehogs when food is limited. If the habitat is right (so they have plenty of space to find food) then you find both species living happily. There are so many other causes for the decline of hedgehogs that we can address, and predation by badgers is just a tiny factor (and not enough to justify a cull).

      Fantastic question though, I’m very impressed!!!
