  There are many people who believe in aliens and have probably made prerations for their first meeting or encounter but I am not aware of an official association… that would of course assume that we would have some idea of where they would first appear and how we would be able to communicate with them. For me aliens sit firmly in science fiction rather than science but I am happy to be proved wrong!

  The world leaders would probably have some sort of council. If I recall correctly, the USA already has an agency to deal with aliens! So it’d be whoever is prepared best for it…

  When we send probes into space, we sometimes fix a plate to them explaining who we are and where we come from using pictures. I imagine someone has worked out how to communicate with a species whose language we can’t speak
