      Conservation of energy means that energy is either kept in a certain form, or transferred to another type (e.g. banging on a table transfers some of that impact into sound and other parts into heat). It is always 100%, i.e. energy is never lost. However, it cannot produce more energy than is put in, so cannot ever be over 100%.
