To be honest, I spend most of my time working with people (whether they be my students or members of the public). I don’t get that much hands on time with wildlife because many of the methods we use to study wildlife are indirect (e.g. camera traps) which cause less disturbance to the wildlife so we don’t affect their behaviour. I also do some work with plants, but I am not great at plant identification, so I leave most of that to my colleagues!
