• Question: what is so interesting about bacteria?

      They can be our friends as well as our enemies..A lot of bacteria in fermented food are good for our health. bacteria can also secrete molecules which can influence our brain and new studies also show their role in other disease states such as diabetes/arthritis etc…So they will always remain interesting..we can only grow about 1% of microbes so that is very low number…perhaps you might make an important discovery in the future! 😀

    They are so important and we couldn’t live without them. They help us fight infections and we can use them to make medicines. They are also really different to our cells so they can live in all sorts of places we couldn’t survive, so they might just be on other planets/moons as well.
