I like to make people roll their eyes when they ask about my diet as I consider myself a flexitarian which is the most millennial term ever. Basically I try and get as close to vegetarianism as I can to reduce the environmental impact of my diet without being so strict about it. I think reducing my meat intake wherever I can is still progress and so I usually try and have most of my meals be plant based. The tricky part for me when changing to this diet was making sure my body was still getting all of the nutrients and vitamins it needs, so I balance out mostly vegetables with beans or pulses or tofu. I’d say most days of the week my meals are very healthy, though I am still human and no stranger to the emergency maccies after a long day (don’t tell anyone though)
I try to eat a relatively healthy diet most of the time, although sometimes I end up eating microwave meals or grabbing a McDonalds breakfast on the way home from a night shift purely because it’s quick and easy. I try not to make a habit of it, though!

For me, moderation is best. I do try to ensure a balanced diet with my meals (mostly) but I also allow myself a treat here and there.
