      Hi Mecca,

      the moon is always out there, night and day, even if we cannot always see it. The moon cannot produce any light by itself, like the sun does. The only reason why we can see the moon (in night or day) is because the sun’s light reflects off of the moon’s surface. There are two reasons why we can see the moon during the day: 1) When the sunlight is bright enough and 2) second, when the moon is high enough in the sky to be visible (above the horizon).
