      Hi Brandan,

I’m just about to start a whole new series of experiments which will probably take me until the end of September to finish. However the experiments are still top secret because we don’t want any other research groups to copy us! They’re very exciting though 🙂

My next biggest experiment is probably going to be working in mice, but before we start doing experiments in mice, we have to make sure than everything works on just cells because we don’t want to waste and harm mice for something that might not work.

      Hi Brandan,

my next biggest experiment is to create droplets that look like cells on the outside, but they are much much smaller in size than actual cells. The reason why I am doing this is to deceive the cells into taking in the drug that is inside these droplets.

I’ve got a couple of things coming up that we need to keep a bit quiet about. I’ve also got a student coming to work for me to do their PhD. She will work on getting higher resolution images of the heart from the MRI scanner, a bit like switching your TV to HD. That will be quite a big thing for me.
