Question: what is the deadliest disease?

I’m not sure what the disease is that kills the largest proportion of people that get it, but in the UK in 2013 the biggest killer was cancer that killed 29% of the people that died. Cardiovascular diseases (of the heart and blood vessels) like heart attacks and stroke killed almost as many at 28%.
