• Question: what got you interested in lungs?

      Hi Molly,

      I think I accidentally ended up interested in lungs more than anything. I’ve always been really interested in infectious diseases (my favourite book when I was younger was a Horrible Science book called ‘Deadly Diseases’). Quite a lot of infectious diseases are passed on from person to person through breathing in airborne droplets. And, of course, if you breathe in those droplets they’re going to wind up in your lungs!
