I came up with a few new modifications of techniques we use in the MRI scanner to create images. I’ve also designed and built a few things that we use for testing the scanner. The most interesting one was probably something I called the ‘Breathatron’. It was a computer controlled trolley system that moved in and out of the MRI scanner to simulate what the organs in your body to when you breath. We used it to test new ways of collecting MRI pictures while patients are breathing.
