      My research is on designing cellular structures. They are a mixture of material and hollow space. One of the examples of it is honeycomb.

      I research into how best we recycle lithium-ion batteries. There are many different chemistries involved in these batteries, and my research is focused on trying to get these materials out, check their condition – if the materials are looking a bit unhealthy, how to reform it before putting it back into a battery.
