• Question: How often do you have to travel in order to investigate different scenes

      You have to be prepared to go to where you are needed. That might (and often does) require you to travel.

      You have to travel to every scene. Sometimes is it close by and you are there easily, sometimes it is several hours away and then if we are working on international cases then it can be anywhere in the world.

      As a toxicologists I dont travel to collect samples as that is done by a CSI. I do however travel lots for conferences and university related work which I love.

      I have never had to go far to attend a scene. Only within the police force area that I am working.

      However, I have received evidence to compare from all over the world, e.g. USA and Thailand.
