• Question: How many bodies have you cut open?

      Hi Libby! None – this would be the role of a forensic pathologist. They are highly specialised doctors who have received additional training in forensics. I would have loved to follow this path but unfortunately I couldn’t commit to junior doctor work rotas with two young children. I have to watch programmes like silent witness instead!

      I have never had to cut open a body, thankfully. That job is for aa pathologist.
