      Yes goggles are part of complete PPE they are worn to protect your eyes and to prevent skin flakes/ eye lashes falling onto a scene/sample.

      For my work, no. I’m never in a situation where it would be needed. But for DIY at home, googles can be very important…

      Yes, always in the Chemistry labs, along with a lab coat and occasionally gloves. The instrument rooms are more relaxed though, as long as you’re not working with anything that could splash into your eyes 👀.

      Goggles are worn, actually have to be worn, during sample preparation for protection both of one’s eyes (from damage) and the samples (from contamination).
