• Question: why do we assume that we don't like something when we haven't tried it yet ?

      This is a great question, i think it was asked in one of the chats. I messaged my psychologist friend and they gave me a really really complicated answer. I will try and simplify it for both of us.
      basically it is all about experiences (some that we might not even remember having).

      It could be that someone else in your family dislikes the food and you are taking your attitude from them. Or it could be that when you were a baby in the womb your mum had a bad experience with that food.

      Also we sometimes associate certain foods with other ones and that makes us dislike them.

      There are loads and loads of other really complicated reasons. But the best thing to do is to try the food and then your taste receptors and senses will tell you whether you really like it or not.
