      Different people seem to have their favourite potential protein source of the future. Some say insects, some say lab-grown meat, others freshwater aquaculture or plant-based proteins only. I honestly don’t know. I think the research into insects for food is super interesting, though. I’d love to try an insect burger.

      I agree with Martin, why not use insects as a source of protein , there are millions of them on the planet and they are ultimately cheap to produce.

      The main thing that puts people off is all the legs and the stigma around creepy crawlies. I have tried cakes made with insects and also like to snack on salt and vinegar crickets after exercise. Very crunchy and you’d never know it was an insect.
