• Question: Where do you look for asteroids?

      So the rocks I look at were once part of asteroids. They have now fallen to earth and are called meteorites. We have a pretty good idea that the meteorites I look at are from an asteroid called Vesta.

      Most asteroids are found in the main asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, although you do get some closer to Earth called near Earth objects (NEOs).
