Question: what is your favourite plant to work with

I don’t actually work with plants at all! We just take the concept of photosystem II, which uses energy from the sun to split water up into hydrogen and oxygen. Photosystem II uses manganese and calcium compounds to split up the water but we are using ruthenium, iron and copper to try and split the water more efficiently and more quickly than plants can.
