      Not only do those goggles make a great picture they protect your eyes from the machine behind me.

      That machine is a carbon coater. What it does is you put touch two carbon rods together and put a electrical charge through it. This evaporates some of the carbon which then ‘sticks’ to what ever is inside the machine. This causes a flash which can damage your eyes.
