I have always know I wanted to be a scientist ever since I was really little. I am so happy I have managed it 🙂

I went through lots of different ideas of what I wanted to be. For ages I wanted to be a submariner like my Dad, but women aren’t allowed on submarines. Then I thought I wanted to be an engineer and then a musician. Finally, during my A Level year I settled on chemistry. I would say I became a scientist during my final year at university for undergraduate as that’s when I started doing my own individual research project.

Probably not till my second year at University. I was about 19/20yrs old then when I made the definate choice to become a scientist.

I wanted to be a scientist when I was little, but I didn’t think I could do it! So I had lots of different ideas about what I might do instead, and I tried a few different jobs. I realised that I really could be a scientist when I got accepted onto my Masters, so it took quite a long time for me to work out what I wanted to do!
