• Question: Is it true that mars used to be a masive ocean planet ?

      What an interesting question!

      Scientists from NASA say that once Mars had an ocean which covered over 20% of the planets surface. This makes the planet more promising to find Alien life. How exciting!

      Imogen is right roughly 20% of Mars would have been Ocean. Not much compared to our ~70% but that would still be larger than the Atlantic.

      I am happy as this is similar to my project in a way and the kind of thing I would like to do.
