• Question: if you were not able to be a scientist what would you be?

      I would probably be a teacher. I’m actually a qualified primary school teacher, and even though I love teaching, I couldn’t turn down the opportunity to become a full time scientist instead!

      Probably a paramedic. I love the idea of being able to help people 🙂

      If I hadn’t studied chemistry at university I would have studied music as I play the clarinet…so I would hope that by now I would have been a professional musician!

      Hard question as I have never really thought about another Job. Even wanting to be an astronaut is still doing science but in space 😛

      I have 5 black belts however so I would probably work for the Ministry of Defence training people in martial arts or that kinda thing.

      Well, I set off wanting to me a medic before branching out to science so I’ll probably have been a doctor instead.
