Yes! definately. The condition I’m researching on affects a lot of people and no one really knows what causes it so there is no cure. Most dry skin conditions can only be treated with creams and sometimes tablets to control it but not totally cure it. If I succeed with my research then there is a chance a cure could be found to cure it.

Yes I do think my research will be important.

My research is showing how bad plastic pollution is in the ocean.

By knowing this, my research can help make the ocean a cleaner, safer place.

I think my research will be important in the future but it’s also important now. We’re trying to find new sources of renewable energy, taking sunlight and using it to split up water into hydrogen and oxygen. If we can get a reliable source of hydrogen, without cost to the environment, we can run hydrogen cars and buses, which will be emission free.

Yep. There are already plans to mine asteroids for water to make rocket fuel. This will help us colonize other planets! With resources running low here on Earth it will be useful to know where is best to get the things we need in the solar system.

I think every scientist hopes that their work will be important 🙂 By finding out how children learn and remember new things, I hope that I can help people to achieve their very best and maybe even become scientists in the future! 🙂
