• Question: Do you believe in the big bang theory?

      That’s a tricksy question! We don’t really “believe” in things like the big bang theory, not the way some people believe in fairies or ghosts.

      The Big Bang Theory is our best guess of how the universe started, based on the evidence we have and all the science that has been done. I think this is probably a good guess of how it came about, unless science can come up with better answers!

      I do accept the Big Bang, although maybe if I knew more astronomy and physics I would come up with a better theory? For the time being there seems to be no other explanation that makes more sense than this one. If something based on stronger evidence comes along, I would be happy to change my mind.

      I do believe in the Big Bang. Currently it is the best explanation for the creation of the universe, all other laws of physics fit well with this explanation. That does not mean to say that there isn’t more to find out!

      The T.V programme not so much haha! 😛
