      Good question, nobody knows the definite answer to this. Quite often a person religious or other beliefs is how they answer this question. Some people can even think there is no purpose to why we are here.

      At a very basic level life exists because of the billions of tiny accidents that first allowed biological life to develop on our planet, then to not only survive, but thrive here. At a deeper level, wow, I don’t know. This I think links back to the idea of ‘do we have a purpose?’ and I suppose we all have to find our own answer to those questions.
