Curium Zone
Curium is a silver, radioactive metal that tarnishes when it exposed to the air. It was discovered in 1944 and named after the scientists Pierre and Marie Curie. One of the main uses of curium is to make batteries for special applications, such as pacemakers, satellites and spacecraft. These batteries can last for years and years without needing to be recharged!
